Dios se deleita en recompensar a quienes lo buscan. La pastora Kara inició su mensaje explicando la distinción entre la salvación y vivir la vida del reino en Cristo. La salvación es un regalo gratuito de la gracia de Dios, pero las recompensas del reino llegan cuando lo buscamos intencionalmente.

Ella compartió cómo los reyes magos viajaron más de 500 millas, un viaje que requirió años de planificación y compromiso, para buscar a Jesús. Esta no fue una decisión casual; requirió intencionalidad y planificación. De manera similar, podemos tener tanto de Dios como deseemos, pero debemos buscarlo. Como nos recordó la pastora Kara: “No tenemos porque no pedimos”.

Cuando declaramos las promesas de Dios, damos con sacrificio, pasamos tiempo con Él y somos fieles en las cosas pequeñas, Dios lo ve todo y nos recompensa. La salvación nos otorga acceso a Dios, pero los principios del reino, como la generosidad, la oración, el perdón y el ayuno, nos abren el acceso a mayores tesoros e influencia en su reino. Jesús destacó estos principios en Mateo 6, enfatizando que lo que hacemos en secreto, Dios lo recompensa abiertamente.

La pastora Kara destacó el ayuno como un principio del reino poderoso pero que a menudo se pasa por alto. El ayuno nos hace humildes, silencia el reino anímico y agudiza nuestra sensibilidad espiritual para escuchar a Dios y recibir revelación. La pastora Kara afirmó que cuando le damos a Dios nuestras “primicias”, lo primero y lo mejor, el resto de nuestro año es bendecido. También nos desafió a salir de nuestras zonas de confort y vivir intencionalmente para el reino. "Estamos llamados a influir en el mundo", dijo, recordándonos que los sermones dominicales deben complementar, no reemplazar, lo que aprendemos directamente del Espíritu Santo durante la semana.

Antes de planificar el 2025, nos instó a buscar al Señor. La mayor recompensa es Jesús mismo, quien promete: “Reconócelo en todos tus caminos, y él hará que tu camino sea llano, agradable, placentero y próspero” (Proverbios 3:6).

Al cerrar, la pastora Kara nos recordó que los pastores están llamados no solo a “consolar a los afligidos”, sino también a “afligir a los que se sienten cómodos”. Nos instó a profundizar en la búsqueda del Señor y vivir los principios del reino, haciendo del 2025 un año para buscar a Dios con mayor pasión e intención que nunca. La pastora Kara también advirtió que el engaño es una de las mayores señales del fin de los tiempos, pero nos aseguró que aquellos que buscan diligentemente al Señor no serán extraviados. Animó a todos a participar en la próxima semana de oración y ayuno corporativos mientras buscamos a Dios juntos para el 2025.

Hebrews 4:12 reveals that God’s Word has the power to separate us from pain and deception, illuminating our strengths, gifts, and calling. It transforms our thinking and moves us from glory to glory. God, Our constant Provider

God’s desire is to be our Provider. He’s always eager to bless us, but we must be ready to receive it. Just as He longed for us to accept salvation and the Holy Spirit, but we had to be prepared to receive them—so it is with His provision. To truly receive God's provision, you need to understand three things: Whose you are, Who you are, and What your assignment is. First, you are a child in God’s family. Second, you are God’s favorite child. And third, your assignment is to reflect the Father’s abundance—living with no fear of lack, able to be generous with your finances, knowing that your Heavenly Father will always take care of you. When you truly understand that you belong to God’s family, are His favorite child, and have a role in His kingdom, everything changes. You’ll be empowered to see yourself differently and realize that all the resources of heaven are available to you. Pastor Ben shared a great example from the movie Princess Diaries. The teenage girl in the story was living in poverty, but when she discovered she was heir to the throne of a European kingdom, everything about her life changed. She saw herself differently—her authority, her ability to reign, and her access to provision were all transformed. The same principle applies to us. God’s faithfulness to provide was evident in the journey of the Israelites from Egypt to the Promised Land. He provided manna every day, and their clothes and shoes didn’t wear out. But when they faced a need, instead of trusting God, they complained. In Exodus 17:2, they demanded, “Give us water to drink!” But Moses responded, “Why are you complaining against me? And why are you testing the Lord?” Their slavery mentality kept them from asking for what they needed. A slave complains, but a child asks. This is why Pastor Ben emphasized the importance of knowing your identity and position in God’s kingdom. As God’s children, it’s in our nature to be generous, to reflect His generosity. But when we’re consumed with fear about not having enough, we hold back. Trusting in God’s provision and our position in His family is key to fulfilling our kingdom assignment. Matthew 6:31-33 reminds us: “So don’t worry about these things, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?’ These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs.
